The Hardy Half Marathon, is organised by a committee of four event partners, Dorchester RIOT running club, Dorchester Lions, Casterbridge Rotary Club and the Dorchester Rugby Football Club. The main beneficiary for the 2023 event was Farming Community Network, who received £1900.
Some of the Hardy Half Committee met with FCN to officially hand over the gratefully received cheque.
The Farming Community Network is a national network of local volunteers who provide emotional support for farmers and their families in times of need. Farming is a vital part of the Dorset landscape - both visually and economically - and we're proud to be supporting an organisation that promotes improving the wellbeing of such a vital community.
